Castleford Tigers 34 Catalan Dragons 24: Tigers maintain unbeaten league record

Castleford are back on the top of the table after overcoming stiff resistance to continue their 100 per cent start to the Super League season.
Terry Matterson’s young side made it four wins in a row but came from behind twice, Nick Youngquest’s brilliant 100-metre dash highlighting their second-half charge.
Matterson said: ‘Catalans caught us on the hop and we were a bit soft in defence, but I was pleased with the reaction after the break.
‘Our game is evolving and the young guys are making it difficult for me to leave any of them out.’

Castleford were 10 points down in as many minutes and, although they then nosed in front 12-10, they trailed 18-12 at the break.
Scott Dureau scored all but four of the Catalans’ 18 points in the first half, scoring two tries and landing three goals from four attempts as well as setting up a try for Damien Blanch.
Craig Huby and Stuart Jones scored first-half tries for Castleford, who won it with scores by Kirk Dixon, Chase, Youngquest and Joe Arundel
